6 Months!

It seems I've slacked on the blog lately...we've been busy. Busy trying to keep up with Ayla.

The last post she had started to sit up all her own from her tummy and 2 days later the true crawling began. Oh, did it begin..... and fast she took off. Then 3 days after crawling she started pulling up and standing.

I am soooo not ready for this. It seems life with Ayla is on fast forward and I am powerless to stop it. But we are enjoying every minute with her! She is so happy!

We spent her first Thanksgiving in Darlington and I think she loved seeing family.

At 6 months she weighed 17.5lbs and I think 27 in. Her 6th month also saw her first ear infection that continues still today. I foresee tubes in her ears in the near future.

Halloween!!!

Our little Halloween monkey!! I wanted it to be a girl monkey so I put pink hair bows on the ears! She seemed to love wearing the costume. Next year's Halloween will be much more fun! Ayla is trying to sit up all on her own, she has it for a little while and getting better everyday. I kept trying to put her in a sitting position and was getting discouraged when she wouldn't stay there, turns out she just wants to do it on her own.

I loved this fleece 1/4 zip jacket I bought at Kohl's. I thought she looked adorable!

This dress is one that poppa and grammy (in Tennessee) bought her!

Daddy and I bought this outfit last February, thinking that she would wear it this coming February since it was 9 months size, boy where we wrong!!! It's October and already she's wearing it!
